Our Training Philosophy

At Unleashed, we approach dog training in a fun, positive and most importantly, realistic way. Our goal is to join you on a training journey that both you and your dog enjoy!

We exclusively teach training with positive reinforcement methods and find that it builds dogs' confidence and strengthens the bond between dog and owner. With those two things in place, steering your dog towards certain behaviors becomes much easier!

Our trainers have a combined (NUMBER) years of experience and education and we are proud to know that the dogs of Evanston are in their hands.

We offer a variety of group classes focusing on obedience, enrichment, and dog sports. We also have private, in-home lessons for those who want more personalized training.

Policies and Requirements

Refunds & Make-ups

In order to protect our commission-based trainers, we have a strict No Refund, No Make-Up policy.

If you register for any of our classes, you are taking a space away from another client and must commit to paying for the class regardless of circumstance. If you are hesitant to commit to an in-person class, please consider our e-learning classes.

Vaccines

All training dogs over 6 months old must have current rabies, distemper, and Bordetella vaccines, and a negative fecal exam within the last year.
Puppies under 6 months must have the Bordetella vaccine, at least one round of the distemper vaccine, and a negative fecal exam within the last year.

The canine influenza and Leptospirosis vaccines are also strongly recommended, but are not required.
